Provider Express is the provider portal for Optum.

Optum is the behavioral health branch of United Healthcare. It also services many other smaller payers. If the back of the clients insurance card tells you to send behavioral health claims to 87726, Provider Express is the portal you need for that payer.

Once Appletree is linked to your Provider Express account, we are able to file/view claims, view remittance, confirm eligibility, submit credentialing applications, review credentialing status and perform demographic updates.

If you are in-network with payers that are serviced through Provider Express, you will not automatically receive EFT. To receive EFT, you will need to separately enroll in Optum Pay, see the link below for more details.
